Institute of Child Health Philip Ullman Wing 1998-2001
Redevelopment of existing corner of Guilford St and Lambs Conduit St opposite Corams Field to provide new research offices,a new library,research laboratories,lecture and seminar rooms.The ICH is part of University Colllege London. The design provided a new public face of the institute where the design ,although modern, matched the scale, rthymn,and materials of the adjacent georgian facades of the Bloomsbury Conservation Area. The research offices are arranged around a three-storey high volume rising through the top three floors.
Robert Timms was the project architect for this project whilst working at ORMS Architecture and Design.
